Add Spinrun to Slack

Connect Slack, select where the agent works, and start a task in a thread.

Before connecting

You need a Spinrun workspace and permission to install an application in your Slack workspace. If Slack requires an administrator's approval, ask for that approval through Slack's normal installation process.

Connect the right workspace

Open Slack settings in Spinrun and follow the installation flow. Read the permissions shown by Slack and confirm the workspace name. After returning to Spinrun, check that the connection belongs to the workspace you intended.

Start in a channel or thread

Invite the installed application where your team wants to work. Address Spinrun with a clear request and keep follow-up context in the same conversation. Avoid pasting credentials into channel messages.

Keep a reviewer in the loop

A Slack message does not override connection permissions or action approval. Review a proposed external action before accepting it. If a connection needs repair, use Integrations rather than sharing an API key in a thread.

Open the relevant screen

Use Add Spinrun to Slack in the active workspace. Sign in if needed. Check the workspace name before changing shared settings, connections, or billing.

If a control is unavailable, ask the workspace administrator or contact support. Include the screen, the action you tried, and the approximate time. Keep credentials and private customer material out of the request.
