Reminders and follow-ups

Give a follow-up an owner, a time, and a clear condition.

Make the condition explicit

Describe what should be checked, when, and what a useful response looks like. A reminder to review a draft is different from a task that reads an external system and sends a message.

Use a task for recurring checks

Create a scheduled task when the work repeats. Include the timezone and an instruction for unchanged state. Ask for an update only when the condition that matters has changed.

Review the destination

Specify where the follow-up belongs and who should see it. A reminder does not bypass message approval or account access. Check the resulting task rather than assuming a phrase in chat created a schedule.

Cancel work you no longer need

Open Tasks to inspect the schedules your workspace actually holds. Remove or pause the relevant task when the need ends. Keep a record of the final result if it matters to the team.

Open the relevant screen

Use Reminders and follow-ups in the active workspace. Sign in if needed. Check the workspace name before changing shared settings, connections, or billing.

If a control is unavailable, ask the workspace administrator or contact support. Include the screen, the action you tried, and the approximate time. Keep credentials and private customer material out of the request.
